This designation is only possible for members of the institution whose Zoom account is used, e.g., for meetings hosted by UM Zoom account, only UM members. Scenario 2: You are an “Alternative Host” who was designated in advance ALTERNATIVELY: You can pre-set the meeting (Settings\Recording > Automatic Recording) so that it records the entire meeting automatically (not recommended if the meeting doesn’t start right away or you anticipate unrelated conversations during the meeting).The Cloud recording will appear in the “Recording” section of your account once the meeting is ended (if host uses the “leave” button to exit the meeting, the video processing will not start and video will not appear) RECOMMENDED: Press “ Record to the Cloud” anytime during the meeting.Scenario 1: You set up the meeting on your account The original host must enable the Local Recording option in Settings\Recording in advance of the meeting Local Recording – The video will be saved on the computer of the person who presses the recording button during the meeting (location can be selected).The original host must enable the Cloud Recording option in Settings\Recording in advance of the meeting Cloud Recording – The video will be saved in the account that hosts the meeting.
