With this solution the Bulgarian content provider provides OTT viewing experiences for owners of Android smart TVs. This channel is part of the A1 Telekom Austria Group (A1 Group). We look forward to bringing the same exceptional experience to subscribers across other A1 markets.3 Screen Solutions (3SS) has announced that A1 Bulgaria has gone live with a new app which enables viewing of Xplore TV on Android TV sets. “With the launch of the first 3READY-enabled Xplore TV apps, consumers in Bulgaria can now benefit from a world-class smart TV UX. “We’re extremely proud to have been selected by A1 Telekom Austria Group to deliver this major multi-country project,” said Kai-Christian Borchers, Managing Director of 3SS. 3SS and A1 Telekom Austria Group are working closely on this major project, co-defining and co-creating the apps to deliver superior UX quality to maximise subscriber engagement The apps are powered by 3SS’ 3READY Product Framework and include popular features including Live TV, catchup, TV Guide, mini EPG, timeshift, live startover and cross-device continue-watching, all within an intuitive, easy-to-use UI. 3SS-engineered custom localised Xplore TV smart TV apps will subsequently be deployed in Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia. The A1 Bulgaria launch is the first market to go live in a five-territory project which A1 Telekom Austria Group awarded to 3SS following a competitive RFP.
